Chashaku

Chashaku (Tea scoop) is used to scoop matcha powder and tea leaves in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony instead of a teaspoon. The slender handle and the small capacity of the spoon can more accurately measure the amount of tea and facilitate the extraction of tea. Two heaping scoops with chashaku equate to around 1 teaspoon of matcha, perfect for a single serving.
